What time is the SF Pride parade 2026?
The SF Pride parade steps off at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 28. It begins near Beale and Market and travels up Market Street, ending around 8th Street at Civic Center.
It’s one of the largest LGBTQ+ celebrations in the world, with more than 200 contingents. Want to actually see it? Arrive early and the crowd gets several people deep before it starts. The stretch from Beale up to about 2nd Street is usually a bit less packed.
Is the SF Pride celebration free?
Yes. The San Francisco Pride celebration at Civic Center Plaza is free and runs 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday (a $5-$10 donation at the gates is suggested, and supports the nonprofit).
Expect six stages of live music, DJs, and drag, a huge vendor marketplace, and community pavilions, from Leather Alley to a country-western dance floor. The main stage sits at the foot of the City Hall steps.

Know before you go
Getting there. Take transit. BART and Muni drop you right at Civic Center and Embarcadero, and Market Street is closed to traffic for the parade. Driving and parking near the route is a headache.
What to bring. Travel light. Bring your ID, phone, sunscreen, and an empty reusable water bottle. SF Pride encourages going bag-free for faster entry, and there are security checkpoints at the gates.
What to wear. Classic San Francisco summer: sunny and in the high 60s to low 70s by day, dipping into the 50s at night. Wear layers, especially if you’re heading to DAYFALL or an after-party once the sun goes down.
